About Jade Electric Pedals

Jade Electric Pedals was founded in 2025 on the east side of Bakersfield, California, with a simple idea: build great-sounding, dependable guitar pedals that working musicians can actually afford.

After more than a decade of playing guitar on stages, in bars, and everywhere in between, I knew what I wanted out of my gear. I wanted pedals that sounded great, held up to the demands of playing live, and gave me the flexibility to find my own sound without getting lost in unnecessary features or gimmicks. That philosophy became the foundation of Jade Electric.

What started as a passion for understanding and modifying guitar circuits quickly grew into designing, developing, and building my own pedals. From transparent, touch-sensitive overdrives to higher-gain circuits and vintage-inspired fuzzes, every Jade Electric pedal is developed with one thing in mind: how it performs in the hands of a real guitarist.

Pedals like the Blackboard Overdrive, with its clean blend and two-band EQ, reflect that approach. It's about giving players the control to shape their tone while preserving the character of their guitar and amplifier. As the lineup continues to grow, that same philosophy carries through every new design.

Our pedals are inspired by the sounds and traditions of the music we love, especially the country and Bakersfield sounds that helped shape our hometown. But they're built for far more than one style of music. Whether you're playing country, blues, rock, or something in between, the goal is always the same: useful controls, great tone, and reliable performance.

Every pedal is developed and hand-built in Bakersfield, California, with careful attention to component selection, circuit design, and the little details that make a difference when you're actually playing.

Jade Electric isn't a big factory or a faceless company. It's a small, independent operation built around a genuine love of guitars, electronics, and live music. I'm still out there playing gigs, experimenting with circuits, and looking for ways to make the next pedal better than the last.
